Three new varieties of garlic in (Chesnok Red, Romanian Red and Music) From Ezra Lee Farm in Cottage Grove.
Peak Season - Melon Abundance
A fun new one is the Honeysaurus a.k.a. Snow Leopard melon. Grown in the northwest, with a white skin speckled with green. Snow Leopard shares a similar flavor profile with honeydew, but with crunchier flesh. To check for ripeness, give this melon a good sniff. If its scent is sweet and robust, it’s ready to enjoy.
